Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor email and mail for vendor invoices.
- Work with purchasers, site supervisors, and vendors to approve, code, and correct invoices.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, and enter invoices into their accounting software (Sage 50 and Homefront Payables Desk).
- Maintain a digital archive of invoices and fulfill information requests.
- Prepare cheque runs and online payments, and process corporate credit card payments.
- Process employee reimbursements.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in an Accounting-related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience performing a similar role and working collaboratively with the finance team.
- Proficient with office software including MS Outlook Email and Office.
- Experience with Sage (Simply) Accounting software.
- Knowledge of homefront or other construction management software is preferred.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record in project cost accounting and reporting.
- Self-motivated, proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
