The opportunity
This position is ideal for a wealth planning professional who is looking to transition into a national office career path while maintaining / enhancing their skills as a planner. You have a keen ability to problem solve, an analytical mentality, a drive to investigate and get to the root source of issues, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across different mediums. This role has several potential career paths as the Wealth Planning Services team is expected to grow over the upcoming years.
Responsibilities
Work with advisors across the different Manulife channels to provide support on Wealth Planning Software
Testing of software releases prior to them going live with the field. This would also include creating training assets and communications ahead of said releases.
Ongoing training and presentations of software tips and best practices to other SME and advisors in the field.
On an interim basis work on centralized financial plans and plan conversions.
Refer advisors to proper advice / support channel as required.

This role is a foundational piece in a new way of providing support to advisors across business lines! You will create impact by helping to shape the culture and establish the reputation of Wealth Planning Services in our journey to be recognized as the industry leader in advisor support. Your interactions with the field will play a key front line role in garnering support for the expansion of the team and a material value add in attracting and retaining advisors to the Manulife platforms!

What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of financial planning / financial planning software support experience
Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred
Experience with financial planning software
Experience with financial planning software testing
A passion for the technical aspects of financial planning
Excellent telephone, written, and presentation skills possessing the ability to communicate complex financial planning topics in a simple manner
Excellent organizational and collaboration skills allowing for clear record keeping and case transitions between team members• Excellent problem-solving and analytical testing skills
A true teammate with a keen attention to detail
Strong ethical compass, adherence to the fiduciary standard and promoting standards set by the FP Canada Standards Council™
Key contributor to the advisor experience, owning key action items and steps in the planning process
Prioritization of resources and deliverables
Maintain clear records of client inputs and planning
Decisions beyond normal day to day may require escalation to management
Decisions at this position are made using judgment based on skills and knowledge already developed

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
CAN, Quebec – Full Time Remote
Salary range is expected to be between
$65,775.00 CAD – $109,625.00 CAD
