As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail oriented Human Resources Student to assist with all things HR at our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario.

Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment while gaining invaluable hands on experience? As Human Resources Intern, you will be providing support to the HR department with a focus on recruitment and selection, training and development and payroll and benefits administration to reach Skyline’s shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What we look for:
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, i.e. ESA, OHSA and its regulations, WSIB, Human Rights.
Experienced in strong administrative skills and applicable payroll laws.
Demonstrated tact and diplomacy with highly confidential information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is an asset.
Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills while remaining detail oriented.
Able to be proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the public.
Capable of operating under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Enrolled in Post-Secondary HR Degree, Diploma or Certificate program.
High school diploma required.
