Remotivate Looking for Academic Research Specialist at Canada Full Time

We are looking for a motivated Admissions Research Specialist who will play a pivotal role in supporting our team and students by conducting thorough research to provide valuable insights and recommendations. Your primary focus will be on gathering, analyzing, and presenting information that will help students make informed decisions about their college applications, dual enrollment courses, summer programs, internships, and scholarships.

This is a full-time remote position.

Requirements

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Has at least 2+ years of experience in research in an academic setting
• Exceptional research and analytical skills, with a knack for finding and synthesizing information from various sources
• Previous experience in data analysis, educational research, or admissions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and online research tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize requests from students and team members
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

Nice to have:

• Experience in education, college admissions, or a related field
• Knowledge of the college admissions process and higher education landscape

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting research based on requests from students and team members with the emphasis on prioritizing student needs
• Compiling comprehensive reports on various topics such as college lists, dual enrollment courses, summer programs, internships, and scholarships
• Following established strategies to provide tailored recommendations that align with student’s interests and academic plans
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and resources in college admissions and education
• Collaborating with the team to support students in achieving their academic and extracurricular goals
• Managing and organizing information efficiently to ensure easy access and retrieval
• Assisting in the development of new research methods and strategies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services
• Developing and populating CAS knowledgebase for the purposes of enhancing AI Bot
