POSITION SUMMARY:
As a key member of the Strategic Sourcing team, the Supply Chain Analyst will assist with the development and maintenance of a USMCA Certificate database to support customs compliance within NFI Group companies. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team and external suppliers to request, collect, verify, and organize USMCA Certificates. The position may also assist with other projects and initiatives within the Strategic Sourcing department as required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Request, collect, verify and organize USMCA Certificates for NFI Group companies.
Ensure data accuracy in the documentation received and the in database.
Assist with the development of a process to maintain the USMCA database in the future.
Research customs compliance best practices and recommend improvements to internal processes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Completed or enrolled in post-secondary education in a recognized business or management program
Education or equivalent experience in Supply Chain management preferred
Experience with customs compliance or USMCA an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills are essential
Motivated self-starter with capability to work within a fast-paced team-oriented environment
