The company is currently looking for a driven and passionate Logistics Supervisor – Plant, to join their growing team and collaborate with both employees and the management team.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Logistics Supervisor – Plant must manage and mobilize the logistics teams and achieve the company’s objectives in a positive work environment based on the organization’s values. In addition, he/she is responsible for managing inventory follow-up in order to optimize costs.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Apply your business acumen and become a vital member of the floor supervision team. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills by performing the following activities:
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, policies and provide a safe and healthy work environment;
Plan, organize, coordinate and control the activities of the logistics sector while respecting the quality, manpower, costs and deadlines required;
Ensure the quality of products and services provided by the various carriers. Actively participate with the dispatch team in the identification of transportation solutions;
Ensure clear verbal and written communications with the various stakeholders;
Approve departmental hours worked;
Responsible for the equipment used by the receiving/shipping department (maintenance and follow-up);
Take charge of the traffic in the robotic area including the management of recurring problems as well as the planning and follow-up of preventive maintenance;
Evaluate and communicate employee performance and do the necessary follow-ups;
Organize and facilitate employee meetings and inform staff of policies, procedures and programs in effect;
Ensure accurate inventory of products;
Develop a logical inventory storage system;
Occasional presence on different shifts (day/evening/night) may be required in your duties (Available by phone if needed).
THE JOB REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Minimum 5 years experience in inventory, distribution, operational procedures and personnel management;
Bilingualism;
Good skills with computer systems and MS Office suite;
Good communication skills;
Available outside of work hours to support his team;
Results oriented;
Proven leadership skills: rally the team to achieve a common goal;
Good priority management;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Organized/structured: able to multitask and work independently and responsibly;
Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
