School of Music Arts Looking for Music Teacher at London, ON Full Time

School of Music Arts (also known as SMArts) is looking for new teachers to join our amazing team. While we are accepting resumes for teachers of all instruments for possible future openings, we are specifically looking for the following:

• Violin instructor (with ability to teach celtic/fiddle)
• Voice instructor (with ability to teach piano as a secondary instrument up to about Grade 4-6 RCM level)
• Piano instructor

What we are looking for in a teacher:

• Post-Secondary educational or performing background
• Outgoing and energetic individuals who enjoy working with people
• Ability to communicate musical concepts to young and old, beginner or advanced
• High degree of proficiency with your primary instrument
• Ability to teach additional instruments is a strong asset but not required
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to be punctual and to communicate regularly with administrative staff
• Adaptable to changing student’s needs
