Adecco Looking for Recruiter at Ontario, Canada Full Time

Adecco Professional has been hired by our client to fill a high-volume Recruiter job opening in Canada and is active on their search. They are looking for an experienced Recruiter who has experience hiring volume temporary/contract talent for a new project they are commencing – there is a large influx in clerical/labour/driver hires to be made and they require immediate support. This Recruiter job opening is a full-time, temporary position starting immediately and will be for 1-3 months pending how the recruit and project lands. Please note that while this is a remote working position, you must reside in Canada and must be able to work Ontario and Alberta time zones as the hires are in those two Provinces (hiring for Ottawa and Calgary).

For this Recruiter job opening in Canada, some of your job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate end to end recruitment for a large volume of talent for roles such as drivers (G-class), labourers, clerical hires for both Calgary and Ottawa locations.
• Coordinate all aspects of recruitment from job advertisements, sourcing, interviewing, reference and any applicable background checks, etc.
• Generate and utilize various recruiting sources and your existing network to uncover talent.
• Liaise with internal staff to determine hiring needs, coordinate any meetings etc.
• Track the hires and ensure all required documents/paperwork/compliance is obtained and accurate.
• Other duties as assigned.

To be considered for the Recruiter job opening in Etobicoke, ON, candidates selected for consideration will meet the following minimum requirements:

• At least 2 years of successful in-house or agency recruitment experience; end to end experience is required.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office while experienced in Workday HCM or Workday Recruitment ATS
• Knowledge of the ESA and ensure all laws are adhered to during the recruitment/hiring process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written in English is mandatory.
• Driven, innovative, highly organized and detailed.
