Altis Recruitment Looking for Accounts Receivable Clerk at Surrey, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, onsite in Surrey. The successful candidate will have atleast 6 months – 1 year of experience working in an Accounting Clerk or AR position, and will be comfortable working fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable records, including documenting and organizing invoices, payment receipts, and other relevant financial documents
• Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate and timely payment posting
• Process daily deposits and apply payments to outstanding balances
• Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and written communication
• Assist with generating and analyzing weekly, monthly, and annual reports on accounts receivable activities
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues
• Assist in preparing and mailing invoices or statements to customers
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to billing and payment issues
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and guidelines
• Update and maintain accurate customer records, including contact details, payment terms, and credit limits

Requirements:

• 6 months – 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable or related role.
• Education in Accounting or related field.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
