Description
As the (Sr.) Manager of the Enterprise Analytics – Partnerships & Lifestyle team, you will lead a team to empower our stakeholders in Partner Sourced Value (PSV), Entertainment, Lifestyle, and Dining with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to support goal setting, opportunity sizing and results measurement. You will collaborate closely with each team to learn their business priorities, deliver actionable insights, and be their strategic thought partner.
Responsibilities
Analysis
Conduct initial consultation with stakeholders to understand their business needs, assess the specifications of their request, and recommend appropriate solutions when necessary.
Evaluate overall impact to the business and assess scope / complexity of potential work involved to ensure proper prioritization and depth of engagement.
Design the project and analysis while leveraging business frameworks that fit the project need.
Concisely communicate the scope and analysis design in an easy-to-understand format for stakeholders to review and drive alignment.
Utilize a broad set of analytical tools/techniques for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
Conduct analysis to uncover insights, diagnose root problems, and identify business opportunities.
Create concise and compelling presentations that highlight key findings and implications, leading into logical and actionable recommendations.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership team.
Measurement
Maintain and optimize a variety of measurement dashboards for PSV for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Own the KPI tracking and reporting for Partnership & Lifestyle and provide recommendations for KPI improvements when necessary.
Leadership
Lead a small team to complete team objectives and deliverables.
Develop your team’s capabilities and help them accomplish their career objectives.
Bring external perspective and drive innovative thinking.
Champion and elevate analytics across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administrations, Commerce, Data & Analytics, or Statistics preferred.
3-5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or marketing in the financial services, payment, or fintech industry.
Key Skills
Technical
Advanced Excel and data visualization capabilities.
Advanced understanding of SQL and at least one SQL client software application (E.g. DBeaver).
Working knowledge with at least one programming language is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently leveraging existing resources (existing documentation, training modules, online resources).
Business Acumen
Ability to apply various business case frameworks for solving standard business questions
Ability to read and dissect a P&L statement.
Knowledge of basic financial principles (cash flow, time value of money, risk and return).
Broad knowledge of the payment industry
