SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS:
($63,393.31 – $73,118.09 Annually)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Government Affairs, the Senior Communications Specialist, Government Affairs, is responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and relevant updates regarding BC Housing programs and services for elected officials and government representatives in support of BC Housing’s corporate objectives. He/she/they collaborates closely with departments across the Commission, colleagues in the branch, and the Manager to respond to inquiries from government officials, including supporting the collation and validation of information and data. The Senior Communications Specialist supports the planning of meetings and events, digitally and in person. The incumbent provides communications services for BC Housing’s management and staff on a range of matters, including emerging and politically sensitive issues, as well as coordination of tours of BC Housing projects for elected officials.
