The Research and Analytics Branch supports the Ministry in providing leadership and direction for a world class post-secondary education and training system in BC. The Branch has responsibility for oversight of the accountability framework for public post-secondary institutions, and providing high quality data, analysis and research to support decision making and policy development. The Branch is the custodian of key post secondary education data and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect, analyze, and report results. The Branch also has responsibility for reporting for student financial assistance data, providing critical data and analytics required for program and policy decisions.
Key research and reporting areas in the Branch focus on public post-secondary enrolment and credentials reporting, Student Outcomes Survey results, student financial aid, Future Ready implementation support and Accountability Framework performance indicators for public post-secondary institutions. In addition to regular published reports and tables, the Branch is responsible for an extensive research agenda, developing key business insights and leading critical research projects.
To design and implement complex statistical analysis and economic modelling projects supporting various program areas across the ministry. Work conducted by the position directly contributes to the improvement of ministry and the post-secondary education and training system in BC, and the position advises senior executives on matters directly impacting goals and objectives of the ministry.
The position will be required to work with various post-secondary education partners and stakeholders, supporting collaborative initiatives to advance post-secondary education, as well equity and diversity within the sector.

This position can be based in any Post-Sec Ed & Future Skills office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a fulsome list of locations. Remote work is allowed. This position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia as per the telework agreement.
