The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills (PSFS) and its Technology and Business Transformation Branch (TBTB) brings information management and information technology (IM/IT) services and initiatives together to support the ministry and the provincial post-secondary education sector. TBTB promotes the integration of post-secondary education sector data into daily business operations and provides sector–wide leadership for IM/IT planning and business solutions.
TBTB is accountable for the design, implementation, and continual upgrading of AEST’s information privacy and security framework, which includes taking a leadership role in determining applicable information privacy and security standards and definitions, categorization of the processed information, and secure methods of information transmission. TBTB provides leadership and direction for a diverse range of major post-secondary education information technology, privacy and security advisory services to senior officials within and, to a lesser degree, outside of government.
The Lead Data Architect provides expert direction, outlines broad context, determines major long-term strategic priorities, develops policies and sets standards for data administration and the ministry’s data architecture, ensuring integrity for the ministry’s data resource, and making the ministry a leader in managing information for effective business use.
You will provide expert advice to senior staff and lead multiple project teams as well as ongoing operational leadership for cross-government application services.
