Job Summary

Family Justice Services Division (FJSD) delivers programs and services that promote the timely and just resolution of family disputes within a comprehensive family justice system. Through community-based Family Justice Centres and Justice Access Centres, FJSD provides various in person and virtual programs and services, including initial needs determination, dispute resolution, Section 211 Family Law Act reports, and Parenting After Separation online courses.
Under general supervision of the Office Manager, the Office Assistant is the first point of contact for the public and must be able to effectively interact to provide key information on Family Justice Services; offer information to assist families to determine their needs; and book appointments as required.
The Office Assistant is responsible for performing day to day administrative and business functions in support of the Office Manager and other staff members.

About This Position
Currently. there is one (1) position available in Courtenay.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to two (2) days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
