Job description:

Integrating the functions of Planning, Purchasing and Production Control to generate the production plan and develop and execute the production control strategy to meet the business plan.

Scope of responsibility includes scheduling shop production, integration of incoming supply from other locations, incoming supply from external suppliers, managing work orders, monitoring and reporting shortages, processing work orders, developing burn down plans, and support forecasting and managing sales latest estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule meetings, by production line or program, based on standard policies and procedures

• Develop and validate daily Production build and mitigation plan(s) and redirect and / or re-establish priorities, as required

• Release and manage Production work orders to support Production start dates and validating that all parts were allocated correctly to the given work orders

• Ensure work orders are corrected in a timely manner each week to minimize aging work orders

• Ensure kitting of material supports the daily build plan and process adhered to.

• Prioritize and sequence parts on hold back into production line based on customer priority

• Facilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work orders

• Interface with Program Management to stay abreast of Customer priorities

• Ensure Operations visual boards reflect priorities

• Conduct On-Time Delivery root cause analysis and corrective action meetings

• Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and management system

Education and Experience

• Bachelors Degree

• 2 years of relevant experience.

• In absence of a degree 6 years of relevant experience is required

• APICs certification preferred

• Previous ERP experience (i.e. JD Edwards, Impressa, SAP) would be preferred

Skills and knowledge

• Ability to conduct in-depth analysis resulting in development and execution of action plans for improvement

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Organizational skills with a team-orientation

• Must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP
