Who we are looking for
Reporting to our Director of People, our HR Manager will be an instrumental player as we scale the team at BIMM. Our company is in a period of high growth and is looking for an aspiring leader who wants to flex their well developed HR muscles and also learn from an exciting, human-centric team. You are someone who brings exciting ideas to the table, can rally a team, build a buttoned down plan and execute like no one’s watching.
Please note: Our team works out of our beautiful office space in the Distillery District 1-2 times a week.
Responsibilities include:
Identify strategic opportunities to continuously improve the overall operations of the People and Culture department from a process and technology lens. This can include automation, process/system efficiencies, knowledge management to elevate the overall employee experience
Uphold current Performance Management process and inform change where necessary
Foster successful employee relations with all levels of the company
Create and operationalize HR analytics strategy to unlock people insights to drive strong business partnerships and strategic decision making
Develop and design the creation of detailed people reporting metrics including demographic and performance reporting
Design employee recognition programs and retention strategies
Accountable for knowledge management including developing a knowledge management practice, developing assets, capturing new knowledge and facilitating updates, and organizing existing HR related information in Confluence
Align and collaborate with our People & Culture team on learning opportunities and managerial training to facilitate internal development opportunities for employees.
Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices; Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Performs other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Must haves
Minimum 5 years of experience working in an HR capacity
Adaptable, highly collaborative, and comfortable working autonomously in both remote and in-person environments.
Track record of systematization and standardization of scalable HR processes and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adapt communication style to different stakeholder groups from leadership to staff
Nice to haves
Experience in a creative agency or high growth start-up
Experience with BambooHR
