We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic Sales team. We are building a global network and want to bring on a Sales Development professional with the brains, hustle, and experience to elevate and finesse our sales pipeline and process. This is a ground-level opportunity to play a critical role in identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activities. As our Sales Development Representative, you’ll be an integral part of the lead gen and sales process with a focus on bringing in leads and supporting Obsidi customer growth. Everything you do will help the company meet its objective of supporting Black tech professionals by connecting them to the resources they need to succeed. In the larger BPTN team, you’ll experience what it’s like to work in a supportive community of people who are all striving for excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
– Develop strategies to identify, approach and draw in potential customers and leads
· Provide exceptional customer support to our potential customers via email, phone, and live chat.
· Support the Sales team with quality lead generation through outbound sales efforts as well as responding to inbound inquiries.
– Conduct context gathering and qualification calls with prospects in order to drive new sales pipeline
– Create and Generate SOWs to accurately encompass customer needs
· Generate leads and builds relationships by staying in touch with cold leads, nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
· Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
· Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
· Work closely with account executives to identify high-quality leads and improve closing ratio
· Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
· Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
· Maintain professional network, staying up to date with industry news. reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
· Effectively track sales metrics and processes using sales tools and CRMs (Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Asana, etc)
EDUCATION
Completion of post-secondary education in a related field.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who embodies the following:
· 1-3 years experience in sales procurement and lead generation and/or customer service
· Experience in collecting customer data, documents & booking meetings
· Strong presentation and relationship building skills
· Strong written and oral communication with experience in customer service
· Experience with Salesforce, Zoom, Slack, Asana,
