Role and Responsibilities
Provide simulator instruction on the Hawk 115 Flight Training Device (FTD) to military student pilots in accordance with the applicable NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) Phase IV Fighter Lead-In Training (FLIT) Training Plan and Canadian Armed Forces approved instructional techniques. Develop specific expertise in Academic subjects associated with Military Pilot FLIT in order to create and deliver academic lectures in support of the NFTC training program. Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of specific Aircraft Operating Instructions, applicable Standard Manoeuvre Manual and NFTC pilot training syllabi.
Candidates must have previous Military fighter pilot experience (essential) as an element lead (2-Ship) with a front line tour at minimum. Previous military flying instructor experience is highly desired.
