Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Superintendent, Human Resources, you will be responsible for administering human resources services at the Cigar Lake operation. Working with HR, site management and supervisors, you will be responsible for matters regarding employee and labour relations, site recruitment activities, workforce planning and the delivery of human resources and employment benefits programs. Other duties will include assisting with site administration, lodging and training.
You will administer the attendance management program and support front line leadership through employee coaching, training on corporate HR and site best practices, as well as the performance management program.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
A bachelor’s degree in business, with a specialization in human resource management
Five to eight years of relevant work experience in human resources
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills are required
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
A CPHR designation
Experience using HR management information systems, specifically SAP

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North.

Safety Sensitive Site
The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
