This role partners with the Operations Finance team as well as the VP, Quality and team to evaluate and provide business modelling for strategic and special projects. The Finance Manager is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of accounting, budgeting and forecasting of the Warranty and Quality Assurance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with VP, Quality on numerous strategic initiatives and business modeling
• Proactively identify and analyze opportunities for improving quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of team deliveries and take action to put solutions in place to achieve optimal results
• Lead month-end close activities: identify accruals, investigate variances, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries
• Responsible for quarterly forecasting and budgeting process, work with departmental leads to continuously improve departmental submissions to align with CG objectives
• Participate in operational planning meetings in order to understand pending changes and to ensure accounting & financial impacts are considered and incorporated into the planning
• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made
• Create and maintain LRP for warranty claims
• Responsible for calculating & updating Defect Rate analysis and provide commentary to all stakeholders
• Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives and to improve cost visibility
• Act as the key FP&A contact globally for consolidated Finance, HR, and other overhead departments

Experience, Education and Designations:

• Senior level partnership, communication and presentation ability is required
• Experience in business case modeling
• Hands on leader requiring minimal supervision with the ability to tackle multiple responsibilities and initiatives
• Strong analytical skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A
• Previous experience within Warranty department
• CPA or working towards a CPA/CFA designation
• Previous understanding of warranty claims & defect rates or similar experience
• Ability to accurately prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, integrated ERP systems. Microsoft D365 a plus
• Proficiency with data analytics tools, such as Power BI, MS Access
