We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in their industry, currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a large accounting firm for this newly created position due to growth.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Assist with pre and post acquisition activities including due diligence and financial integration

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary

• Review of business unit cash and balance sheets to ensure adherence to working capital metrics/targets

• Business partner with portfolio companies and provide financial guidance to senior leadership

• Management reporting including presentation of consolidated forecasts and variance analysis

• Own the consolidated BU forecast and presentation of forecast and assumptions to business leads

• Perform analysis for variances, key performance indicators, operational metrics, and ad hoc requests

• Coordinate with portfolio businesses for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements

The company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and annual bonus program. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (completed CPA requirements)

• 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting

• Experience auditing public companies under IFRS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency

• Complex accounting experience
