Position: HR Leader (YYC) (Part Time 3-8 hours per week average)
The Position:
The Spa Human Resources Leader (HR) is responsible for planning and leading the human resources department and its hiring protocols. Their main responsibilities include planning personnel requirements, recruiting new employees, helping with communications to ensure effectiveness, keeping records about employees and contractors, assisting the leadership team with conflict, performance improvement and disciplinary up to and including terminations, assist the team with delivering pay raises, awards and make sure everyone on the team is being treated fairly.
The HR Leader will help the team ensure legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission, vision, values.

The Spa HR Leader understands that they are privy to sensitive and confidential information. They will at all times keep the utmost confidentiality of the company, its employees, contractors & suppliers in their personal vault. Information is not shared unless approved by the Spa’s CEO.

Unlike once-and-done strategic plans, effective strategic management continuously plans, monitors and tests an organization’s activities, resulting in greater operational efficiency, market share and profitability.

Administrative skills are essential with the Spa HR Leader because they help keep the spa and team operating smoothly.
