civilGo Engineering Inc. Looking for Entry-Level Civil Engineering Associate & CAD Operator at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Summary: Join a growing and dynamic team of Civil-Municipal Engineering professionals at an up-and-coming Engineering Services Firm.

We invite individuals interested in both permanent employment and students interested in ‘summer’ positions to apply.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Preparation of Civil Engineering Drawings, Designs, Calculations, etc.
• Use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software to complete Civil Engineering design tasks. Primarily, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D will be used. Instruction and training will be provided.
• Preparation of Grading Plans, Servicing Plans, Stormwater Management Designs, Plan & Profiles, Construction Details and Specifications, Erosion & Sediment Control Plans, Storm Catchment Plans, Sanitary Catchment Plans, etc., under the supervision of senior staff.
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, Outlook – for tasks related to the preparation of Civil Engineering Deliverables. 
• Participate-in and receive ongoing instruction and training from Senior Staff.
• Occasionally attend off-site meetings with clients; periodically attend construction site inspections to observe construction of civil engineering works.

Desired Qualifications:

• College Diploma or University Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Located in the Greater Toronto Area.

Work Location:

• The successful candidate will work full-time in our office located at 60 Atlantic Ave., Toronto, for approximately the first month of their employment. Thereafter, a hybrid option will be offered.
