Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, our ideal candidate will have experience recruiting at a high volume and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will include company paid benefits, paid vacation, and RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) matching. This position will also qualify for the remote working program.
This position can be based in the following locations:
Fort St. John, BC
Peace River
Grande Prairie, AB
What would you be doing?
- Recruit staff and trades roles. 80% will be high volume craft roles.
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, hard and soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools to filter candidates within tight schedules.
- Monitor and apply HR (Human Resources) recruiting best practices.
- Onboard new employees into the company.

- Experience recruiting trades/craft.
- Able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
- Handle the stress that accompanies deadlines and multiple priorities, with the ability to do your best work and come through in a pinch.
- Recruitment is your passion.
- Have experience with onboarding and can pivot between recruitment and onboarding
