Position Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate required documentation for filing LVS & HVS CBSA customs entries via internal self-customs clearance system for the efficient importing of Canadian products
- Assist in the preparation of documentation necessary for the exporting of return products to vendors and customers
- Co-ordinate day to day operational activities related to the customs and traffic department
- All other duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of customs & transportation documents experience
- Sound understanding of HTS Codes/CADEX/ACROSS/PARS
- Good understanding of transport accounting and invoice processing
- Experience with the classification of goods is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Positive Team Player with good analytical, organizational, & problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CITT enrolment or CCS designation would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated and self-driven in customs & transportation supply chain products and compliance.
