The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing the HR department and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and other regulations.
Duties will include hiring and training employees; developing and implementing HR programs, policies, and procedures; resolving workplace disputes; administration of the company benefits program; provide timely and informative reports regarding employee attendance, vacation etc. to management; work with the company union to ensure compliance to the collective agreement; work with payroll to generate payroll remittances; conduct employee satisfaction reports; review performance evaluations and other reports; and other duties as required.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills
Organization and time management skills
Thorough knowledge of employment laws
Ability to keep track of a variety of details
A post-secondary education in the HR field is preferred
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $49,835.00-$109,585.00 per year
