CPC Logistics Canada Looking for Afternoon Dispatcher | Regina SK at Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada Full Time

Salary: $55,000/year

CPC Logistics Canada, an international transportation organization, headquartered in Mississauga, has an immediate opening for an Afternoon Dispatcher / Admin in Regina, SK.

This position requires a significant amount of independent work and will report directly to the Supervisor. It will require facilitating the needs of drivers in Regina and Edmonton.

Afternoon shift scheduled 1 pm to 9 pm, Monday to Friday with some on-call duties. Laptop and cell phone provided by company to help facilitate off site work.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily scheduling of Drivers
• Interaction and proper communication with drivers and management alike
• Some weekly Payroll function.
• Filing and maintenance of documents such as DVIRs, bills of lading, etc.
• Professional phone etiquette, answering phones.
• Coordination with equipment vendor to ensure timely maintenance.
• Operating to achieve the best use of manpower and equipment.
• Coordinating back hauls when available
• Updating and maintaining TMS system for fleet
• Duties include flexibility in work schedule.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in transportation or related field experience
• Be familiar with EOBR systems.
• Be familiar with TMW / TMS products.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
• Understand the MOT/DOT Hours of Service rules and compliance issues.
• Have a focus on customer service.
• Have excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
• Class 1A would be an asset but not required.
