We have a great opportunity for a Car Rental Agent to join our team at Automax Rent a Car located in the Waverley Auto Mall.

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming client inquiries and confirm/book reservations
- Record and modify client information within the database
- Greet clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Keep working area clean, professional and orderly
- Open and close contracts
- Achieve monthly sales targets by up-selling company products.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
- Assist with valeting clients
- Conduct vehicle inspections for returned cars and accurately document findings
- Conduct clean vehicle inspections to ensure they meet and exceed our clients’ expectations
- Work as a team player with fellow staff members to optimize productivity
- Transferred cars from one location to another
- Actively managed vehicle maintenance, inventory, billing, and daily business reports
- Creating damage reports
Requirements:
- Customer service experience is greatly considered
- Minimum one year of customer service, retail or sales experience
- Full class 5 Driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Computer Literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills- both written and spoken
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts including evenings & Saturdays

- Other languages spoken considered an asset

After the initial 90 days of comprehensive training, success will mean having the ability to conduct vehicle inspections of rental cars and be able to open and close rental contracts.
