The Department of Social Development is seeking an individual to join the Career Development Opportunities Team as a Case Manager in the Northern Zone.
As a member of the Career Development Opportunities team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing professional, administrative and counselling work related to the programs and services of Social Development. Major duties can include: assessing the needs of applicants, assisting clients to develop and implement action plans, determining and providing financial supports, referring clients to appropriate services, assessing and verifying applicant eligibility for financial assistance, and documenting and updating client files. Other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from University at the bachelor level with a degree in a related discipline.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate experience in one or more of the following asset qualifications:
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be able to transport themselves for work purposes. Travel within the region and some travel within the Province is required to do home visits.

Salary: $63,778 to $78,234 per annum
