The Senior Manager of Logistics (Network Optimization) works on a variety of projects and continuous improvement initiatives for the transportation team and develops the department’s annual operating budget. He or she identifies opportunities for improvement, confirms feasibility and assesses potential gains.

He or she also manages and coaches a team responsible for reporting, analytics, and optimization of the transportation network. The Sr Manager acts as a subject matter expert for the Inbound and Outbound operations by providing necessary support and can sometimes cover special assignments based on needs.

What do you need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or in a relevant field;
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar management role;
• Five (5) years of experience in roles related to analytics, reporting and project management, preferably in the field of Supply Chain;
• Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced and high-volume;
• Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Detailed-oriented and great analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Solid computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (especially with Excel);
• Comfortable with ERP systems; proficiency in SAP and knowledge of EDI transactions are an asset.
