OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
You are passionate about marketing and customer experience, the smallest of details matter to you, and you are continually looking for ways to do things better and more efficiently. As a marketing strategist, you are highly organized and enjoy managing multiple tasks that have tight deadlines. You can combine your creativity with leadership and execute the company marketing strategy. You will be working with vendors and agencies, internal staff, and many other individuals. You are a great communicator, strategist, task executor, creative mind, and most importantly a growth seeker who loves marketing and aligns with our core values!
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day office operations
- Content writing for all mediums of our business
- Support the Marketing Team Lead to develop and execute marketing strategies and plans, for all sales channels
- Oversee all digital marketing activities
- Create and execute digital marketing strategies and plans
- Social media pages: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Etc.
- Customer and employee reviews/ratings: Google, Houzz, Homestars, FB, Yelp, etc.
- Online advertising: Google Ads, Google Displays, banner ads
- Email marketing and eblasts
- Social influencers
- Manage all marketing assets (logos, photos library, etc.),
- Conduct basic graphic design:
- Social media content
- Print materials: business cards, flyers, consumer brochures, event marketing
- Create and maintain sales presentations /sales sheets/one-pagers/etc.
- Branch/design galleries interior signage and displays
- Execute all advertising:
- Magazine ads, TV ads, radio commercials, etc.
- Conduct marketing research as needed
- Dealer support marketing (building groups, builders, etc.)
- Coordinate and create co-op marketing promos with our suppliers and partners
- Act as a liaison between our AOR, Digital Team, photographers/videographers, and freelancers.
- Review and update departments expenditures records
- Website management
- Ensure brands standards are met
- Participate in promotional events as needed
- Administrative support when required

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Communications Design, or Business.
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES
- 4-5 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong content writing skills are a definite asset
- Experience in web design or development is a definite asset
- Experience using Salesforce CRM is a definite asset
- Basic photography and videography is an asset
- Ability to develop and execute digital marketing plans and strategies
- Excellent strategist and problem solver
- Strong communications, both verbal and written
- Strong organization and priority management skills
- Good taste/good eye for design
- Working under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders
- Drive to produce the best results and bring passion to your work
