Elma Steel & Equipment Ltd. is a metal service center established in 1970. There are three branch warehouses located in Listowel, Owen Sound and Cambridge. The company supplies steel to customers throughout Southwestern Ontario.
We are seeking an individual to fill the position of Office Clerk- Administrative Support. This position is based at the Listowel branch.
The successful candidate will work with the sales and finance departments and provides administrative support in various other areas
Responsibilities:
This is position offers a wide variety of duties including:
· Providing Administrative support to the remote warehouses.
Process Sales Orders and Invoices.
· Assist Accounting with Inventory Receiving.
· Verify correct quantity and values for materials received at Remote warehouses.
· Process Vendor invoices and produce cheques.
· Customer follow-up when required.
· Files prepared and filing as required.
· Other Duties as they arise.
Qualifications: This position requires a high degree of initiative and judgement in order to organize and prioritize daily tasks. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and:
· Possess proficient mathematical and computer skills and knowledge of Imperial measure.
· Be a multi-tasker with sharp attention to detail, flexible and reliable.
· Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and function well as part of a team.
