Location: Vaughan
Duration: 3 month contract
On-Site: 3 days per week
Responsibilities:
– Guide and direct corporate hiring managers through the recruitment process using the ATS.
– Collaborate with HRBPs and operational managers on leader recruitment, including interview setup and guide provision.
– Develop an understanding of business areas, roles, and hiring needs through partnership with hiring leaders.
– Clarify role requirements, sourcing strategies, and timelines in intake meetings.
– Source candidates using databases, social media, educational institutions, referrals, and community programs.
– Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies for difficult positions.
– Craft accurate and appealing job ads; post on ATS and online job boards like LinkedIn.
– Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and update/create interview guides for a productive experience.
– Interview candidates using behavior-based techniques to assess fit.
– Handle ATS updates, including adding questions and revising messages.
– Prepare and send messages to passive candidates to generate interest.
– Recommend hires and compensation in alignment with hiring managers and rewards team.
– Extend job offers, complete reference checks, and manage post-offer activities including onboarding documentation.
– Support HR Manager in developing recruitment strategies and programs.
– Participate in continuous improvement and recruitment training facilitation.
Qualifications:
– HR-related degree/diploma; CHRL designation preferred.
– 3-5 years as an in-house corporate recruiter with ATS experience.
– Competent in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
– Strong communication, interpersonal, and service-oriented skills.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and knowledgeable in employment legislation.
