Your Contribution:
Englobe is pleased to offer a career opportunity to an ambitious Operaitions Controler who enjoys working on a variety of projects from multiple sectors with a diverse team. Reporting to the Finance Director – Western Canada, your main task will be to participate in financial review of projects, to work with the billing team and financial analysts, and to be point person on Deltek “Vantage Point” management system.
More specifically, you will:
Analyze projects for profitability, assess revenues and work in progress;
Manage and assist his/her team members;
Assess performance of his/her team members, participate in setting annual goals and identify development needs ;
Attend and contribute to project financial review meetings;
Support project managers in preparing financial reports;
Provide monthly explanations of budget and forecast variances;
Prepare various analysis reports required by management ;
Maintain and update project-related systems and databases;
Participate in month-end and year-end closing;
Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes;
Verify project openings and changes;
Act as accounting system super-user for project management, billing and user training purposes and for the various management tools;
Support the billing team as needed;
Participate in special projects
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
CPA, CMA designation;
Minimum 5 years of experience
Familiar with Deltek software (an asset)
Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a focus on internal client service
Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken is an asset.
