About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help grow our clinical team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter that has demonstrated success recruiting for clinical roles (such as Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, etc.) The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage and coordinate the recruitment function, with a keen sense of identifying talent for a fast-paced and growing organization. Reporting to the Manager, People Operations, you will be required to source and identify top talent, fill job openings and establish a network of top talent.
You will also have a direct impact on every candidate you engage with, ensuring they have an amazing experience.
We have a preference for people based in Calgary (where we have an office), but are also open to remote candidates in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Full cycle recruitment with a focus on finding diverse clinical/medical talent and providing a great candidate experience
Partner and align with hiring leads across the organization to create recruitment plans and support them throughout the hiring process
Maintain the HRIS (BambooHR) from a recruitment perspective
Support the Freddie brand as an employer within Calgary and Canada
Build talent pools across Medical and Clinical roles by participating in industry meetups, representing Freddie as an employer of choice
Work with the People Operations team related projects
Strive to the best people person and first face of Freddie, highlighting our passion and drive

You are reliable, self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail

Inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant recruitment experience at a healthcare/medical company
Proven ability to recruit physicians, nurses, and other providers in an intentionally fast-paced environment
Experience and proficiency with various HR tools (eg ATS, HRIS, etc)
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal
Familiar with working in healthtech or other early stage startups is a bonus, but not required
