Responsibilities:
In this position you will:
Recruit and hire for various positions with a focus on technical positions
Source top talent through job boards and social media as well as attend job fairs and networking events
Lead campus recruiting efforts
Work with marketing on strategic initiatives to increase engagement, enhance work culture, enhance DE&I initiatives and coordinate creative and innovative recruitment and retention strategies
Manage and update various HR systems (administrative tasks)
Contribute and provide back up to other HR business functions, such as payroll, benefits, HRIS, training, compensation, wellness, etc.
Facilitate new hire orientation as well as other training
Ensure compliance with HR related legislation and policies with oversight from HR management and Legal
Mentor and/or provide training to less experienced team members
Participate in annual associate handbook revision process
Complete and submit salary survey data to third party vendors
Counsel associates and management on associate relations issues, performance management, compensation and other confidential HR matters including delivering corrective action
Participate in various committees
May assist with other Human Resources projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another relevant discipline AND a minimum of 3 years work experience
Commitment and passion for recruitment and a focus in hiring quality candidates
Demonstrated understanding of HR related legislation, practices, processes, programs and technology
Experience with Training and Development initiatives considered an asset
Familiarity with implementing/working with HRIS and other related systems
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and collaborate successfully in a team
Effective presentation skills and public speaking ability
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Previous experience and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding business and Human Resources matters
Effective time management, organizational and follow up skills with a strong attention to detail and quality
