GIZEH Packaging NA Inc. Looking for Accounting Clerk (Part-time) at Brantford, ON Full Time

The position is a Part time twenty-hour work week role, with the work schedule open for discussion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Invoicing – Full cycle:

• Print all vendor invoices submitted for to Accounts Payable inbox, access online portals to retrieve invoices, distribute to Purchasing and Finance
• Track payment due dates
• Post invoices into SAP, indicate cost center / G/L accounts and investment projects where applicable
• File paid invoices in vendor files
• Create and maintain investment binders, vendor

Vendor payment runs

• Create and execute vendor payments by cheques and EFT.
• Separate payment stubs and attach them to invoices
• Place cheques in envelopes and mail

• Maintain vendor filing system. Create and label new vendor folders, maintain investment binders
• Gather and organize all receipts for credit card statements
• Assist with all year end activities as required

Back up/other duties:

• Daily banking including cash posting, updating cash in transit, cash overview file
• AR upload onto an external server
• Other responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum five years’ experience in general ledger, accounting activities and purchase orders.
• Experience in SAP Program an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with a team of professionals inside and outside of accounting/finance.
• Strong analytical and written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with consistent accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
