As an Compensation and Benefits HR intern, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing and administering our employees’ rewards, perks and benefits.
What does your typical day look like?
- Design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy;
- Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture;
- Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications;
- Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks;
- Apply effective communication strategies;
- Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the field;
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Currently studying in Human Resources or any related fields;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (French and English);
- Ability to work with managers of all levels;
- Resourceful with a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.
Additional information:
- Location: Physical presence in the office is required for this role (73 Queen Street, Sherbrooke, Quebec);
- Must be part of a COOP program;
- Start date: May 1, 2023;
- Duration: 15 weeks;
- Full-time internship (40 hours per week).
