As our innovative business continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Coordinator, Human Resources who can work full-time at our Richmond location. Reporting to the Generalist, Human Resources, the Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end employee experience from onboarding to exit. If you are a self-starter, able to navigate ambiguity, understand the basic elements of the employee life cycle and have a fun and driven culture, we would love to hear from you!
Duties & Responsibilities
Human Resources
-
Master full-cycle recruiting process (job postings, pre-screening candidates,
interviews, selections, preparing job offer letters, onboarding)
-
Attend virtual and in-person job fairs to promote employer branding
-
Coach and train supervisors/managers on various procedures and policies
-
Promote corporate culture and answering day to day HR related questions
-
Assist with conflict management and progressive disciplinary processes for frontline employees
-
Assist employees with Benefits claims forms for reimbursement
-
Participate in Social Committee and help with organizing events
-
Perform orientation/onboarding for new employees
-
Maintain HR records and ensure strict confidentiality of employee information
-
Assist employees with Benefits enrollment/changes online
-
Run payroll/HR-related reports from HRIS systems for management
-
Other duties as required
Payroll/Benefits
-
Assist in setting up systems accesses for new hires
-
Post miscellaneous payroll adjustment requests through OnBase
-
Sign off on all payroll timecards in Time Management System (Kronos)
-
Answer payroll/benefits inquiries
-
Track benefits eligibility for employees
-
Prepare WorkSafeBC-related forms and reports.
-
Fill out employer insurance claim forms.

Prepare financial reports for various department managers as requested
-
Prepare pay for performance report to ensure monthly bonuses are paid
-
Various filing and keeping employee files updated
-
functions such as vacations, sick days, hiring, terminations, and performance reviews.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources
-
Minimum 1-year HR administrative experience or two years of recruitment experience
-
General understanding of BC employment standards and legislation
-
Workday or Ultimate Kronos Group experience is an advantage
-
Benefits administration experience is an asset
-
CPHR candidacy is preferred but not required
