This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated experienced HR person to hit the ground running with Human Resource’s Intel Canada team. In this role you will build relationships with managers and employees, influence, coach, drive employee relations, org development, learning, diversity, labor relations and HR process development. This position will require strong partnerships with COEs, multiple Business Units in the geo, and others to support a talent ramp integrating top internal and external talent.
The candidate should plan to help foster a culture of Resilience, implement corporate HR programs, and align Intel business policies and guidelines in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. A growth mindset is necessary to build an HR culture of agility and innovation from the start where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries for the good of Intel.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Build relationships with managers and employees for service, influencing and coaching.
Providing real-time and strategic employee relations engagement and management through effective triage, stakeholder management, and thorough assessments using independent judgment.
Analyzes data and documentation to evaluate and influence employees and management regarding employee relations.
Works closely with senior management and leaders to implement corporate human resources policies for the Geo, such as salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, etc.
Regularly makes decisions that impact the attainment of project objectives and resources of employees. Contributes to the development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Leverages foundational organization capability principles and/or design components to improve individual, group, and organizational functioning.
Coaches, mentors, and/or advises employees at all levels to help drive growth and development.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Engage in HR program delivery to Intel’s business groups. Actively contributes to the culture of agility and innovation.
Supports the transformation of the Business HR organization into a strategic learning organization that aligns to LEAN principles, efficiency, and upskilling across Business HR.
Key skills include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, data analysis, and problem-solving.
Build relationships with upper Management and employees for service, influencing and coaching.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
HR and Legal acumen: Specific to the Canada geo: Processes, systems, precedence, and best practices. Assess issues in the context of an organization’s processes, structures, and expertise to develop holistic organization responses.
Business and Strategic Acumen: Understanding of business, how profitability is achieved, who the business serves, how the business differentiates in the market and industry to give context to HR policy and practices to drive required Intel capabilities.
Business consulting skills: Solid design skills for both the organization and its talent. Willing to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals.
Analytical Skills: Experience in seeing the interconnectedness and cycles of all that surrounds you as well as draw accurate conclusions from data and determine appropriate interventions to address business challenges. Able to source, analyze, and tell stories with data.
Stakeholder management skills: contracting and stakeholder management experience in collaborating across management levels. Experience working with senior management and Executive levels is an advantage.
Experience working with different stakeholders in different regions.
Communication skills: interpersonal communications skills, including influencing and encouraging evolution.
Leadership skills: proven leadership skills and experience; a natural teacher with many loyal followers.
Project management skills: execute foundational Project Management skills where needed and appropriate.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following:
Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 6+ years related experience.
M.B.A, Master of Science degree, or a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 4+ years related experience.
8+ years of experience in the following will be considered in lieu of a degree:
Employee Relations
Organization Diagnosis and Design
Leadership Development or Coaching.
HR Basics: Training and Development, performance management, change management.
