We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Co-Op. This role is based in our Oakville location 2 days/week and is remote for the remainder of the week and reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Job Summary: Highly organized, an excellent communicator and comfortable working on your own and within a team, you’ll coordinate and support the TA Manager with initiatives and projects. You will compose, prepare and maintain correspondence, documentation, reports and statistics, assist with formatting and proofreading documents, and handle calendars. You excel in an environment that is constantly evolving and is fast-paced. The role is privy to highly confidential and sensitive information and you must display the utmost discretion and professionalism
Principal Responsibilities
Accurately record and document meeting minutes
Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to assign requisitions to Talent Acquisition Team
Support the implementation of a newly acquired ATS, not limited to configuration activities
Support and track ad hoc projects providing administrative assistance
Use Microsoft Outlook to support scheduling for manager
Prepare new hire onboarding agendas
Use Excel spreadsheets to track staffing agency documents and usage and manage Agency Invoices
Generate reporting and investigate misalignments in various reports
Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Specialists for reporting accuracy
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Human Resources Management Program
Outstanding organizational and communication skills
Ability to build positive relationships with members of the HR team along with relevant stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Expertise in research skills
Confidence to work independently and take initiative
