Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our Logistics team as a Logistics Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a DEC in logistics or higher and a minimum of 3 years of logistics experience in North America. Proficiency in both English and French is required, and candidates must have the legal capacity to work in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation for shipments.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.
Manage inventory levels and track product movement.
Assist in optimizing transportation routes and costs.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics activities.
Support the Logistics Manager in various administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
DEC in logistics or higher.
Minimum of 3 years of logistics experience in North America.
Fluent in both French and English as the clerk will have to deal with customers and suppliers in the US and Canada.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
