Jombone Looking for Showroom Assistant at Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada Full Time

Jombone Inc. is a staffing agency that specializes in hiring for various roles within the blue-collar sector. We are currently helping our client hire a temporary Showroom Assistant to work in their showroom in Burnaby for 2-3 months.

As a Showroom Assistant, you will be responsible for helping customers in person, on the phone, or by e-mail. You will guide customers through the showroom and provide descriptions of product features. You will also be responsible for general administrative duties following the company policies and procedures.

We are currently hiring for the following shift schedule:

• Tuesday to Saturday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday – OFF

Key Responsibilities

• Help check-in guests and ensure they are taken care of in a timely manner.
• Maintain and organize the showroom and entrance area.
• Guide customers through the showroom and products.
• Schedule appointments for customers to visit the showroom.
• Answer phone calls and assist callers or redirect them.
• Manage and replenish samples and other marketing tools.
• Assist in marketing with social media management & content creation.
• Complete all other assigned duties.

• Resourceful and can solve problems or figure things out independently when needed.
• Detailed and accurate in all aspects of work performed.
• Takes ownership of work and the task at hand and sees opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Has excellent communication and organization skills.
• Pleasant, audible, and friendly phone manner.
• Microsoft Outlook & Word, Excel is an asset.

Physical Demands

• The position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of the time.
• The position requires minimal lifting up to 40 lbs.
• The position requires regular and reliable attendance.
