Joshua Goldberg Law is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our Personal Injury team in Toronto. This is a fully remote position with some flexibility. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience working/articling in a similar position.
The successful candidate will assist our busy and fast growing firm. You will assist the principal lawyer in carrying his files (attending discoveries, preparing mediation memos, drafting and attending motions), and the individual in question will also have carriage of a small but growing number of their own files. Ultimately, the intention is for the successful candidate to build their own standalone practice. This is a moderate-volume practice, with an opportunity to work on matters ranging from smaller matters to mid-sized and larger files. Some travel to discoveries or court may be required, but wherever possible remote work is encouraged.
