JRoss Construction is currently seeking a Base and Excavation Foreman for our growing team.
We operate three divisions; Asphalt, Concrete and Landscape Construction. We also have aspects of civil earthwork within our scope. This is hands on position.
Our expectation is for this candidate to be a lead operator and assist with the following functions;
– Day to day supervision of equipment operators
– Layout and survey – this candidate should have good experience with lasers and gps, machine control and will interact with our field project manager regularly
– Assist dispatch and mechanic with records and scheduling of routine maintenance
– Enforce field maintenance and safety requirements with appropriate paperwork is being performed by operators
– Oversee and produce base preparation – The successful candidate must be proficient in achieving finished grade gravel (asphalt or concrete installations)
– This candidate should be a top performer in: Excavator, Loader, Skidsteer, Compaction Equipment, Dozer, Grader – At times they will be expected to run machines. They will be responsible for training and supervision of other operators as such need to have experience in all heavy machinery.
Company truck to be provided. Cell phone allowance monthly. Top wages paid for top quality candidate.

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
- heavy equipment operation: 5 years (required)
