About the Role

Klass Talent is looking to hire a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our in-house talent team. Our talent team provides talent acquisition and recruitment services to our portfolio of award-winning, high-growth software companies. We work closely with our portfolio companies to source high quality candidates, build strong talent pipelines, and attract the best talent as they rapidly scale. We are looking for a recruiter with about 2 to 5 years of talent acquisition experience who thrives in a fast paced, high-growth and entrepreneurial culture. Responsibilities

• Source high quality candidates by leveraging all talent acquisition channels and various sourcing techniques – through your network, headhunting, cold calling, Linkedin, internal Klass Talent database, ATS, social media, networking events, etc.
• Review resumes received and qualify applicants for screening
• Conduct in-depth telephone, video and in-person interviews
• Conduct informational meetings with high quality candidates to build a talent funnel – maintain a network of high potential candidates
• Create a positive candidate experience for all candidates involved in the recruitment process
• Build strong relationships with top talent in the technology industry
• Provide support to portfolio companies throughout entire hiring process (job descriptions, interview process coordination, interview logistics, offer negotiation, etc.)
• Build strong relationships with our portfolio companies and their senior executives
• Become knowledgeable about our portfolio companies (ie. cultures, products, teams, organizational structures, growth strategies, industries, competitors, etc.)
• Work in partnership with senior management and hiring managers at numerous SaaS portfolio companies to fill roles in many functional areas (Development, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, Implementation, Design/UI/UX, QA, Finance, Operations)
• Perform thorough reference checks and background checks on candidates
• Act as a Talent Coach and Advisor to hiring managers and talent teams within the Klass Portfolio on various talent related items, including culture, compensation structuring, market data benchmarks and hiring best practices
• Perform extensive research in the candidate sourcing stage and develop lists of high potential candidates to approach for roles using multiple data sources
• Keep current on strategic recruitment trends and identify opportunities to leverage best practices and new tools/technology
• Attend technology industry networking events – to network, build talent pipeline and promote Klass portfolio companies (both virtual and in-person)

Requirements

• Approximately 2 to 5 years of work experience in an internal talent acquisition role and/or external recruitment company (Executive Search or Agency) – technology industry is preferred
• Depth of experience/knowledge of talent acquisition, including targeted sourcing strategies, talent attraction campaigns, and candidate assessments
• Experience in sourcing and recruiting for a variety of skillsets and levels
• Ability to engage and attract both passive and active candidates
• Proven experience acting as a strategic and analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with senior executives in various functions
• You are passionate about a high quality candidate experience and overall interview experience
• University Degree is preferred
• Strong communication skills – telephone skills, written skills, presentation skills
• Experience in a fast paced environment
• Experience working with high growth companies
• Ability to multi-task and own multiple roles simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate in a teamwork culture
• Strong organizational skills – ability to stay organized even when juggling multiple roles, various hiring managers, numerous candidates at different stages, etc.
• Detail oriented
• Self motivated and ability to work independently
• Experience working on recruitment for software companies is preferred
• Keen interest and understanding of Technology / Software Industry / SaaS
• Professionalism and high level of integrity – this role requires you to deal with senior executive leadership teams and to use the utmost discretion in handling confidential information
