Lavanett Equipment is part of a group of companies that the Accounting Clerk will assist in bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
We are one of the most highly respected suppliers of industrial and commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment in Canada. We distribute leading brands in the Fabricare industry and have been servicing Canada, coast to coast, for over 26 years. Responsibilities include:
· Data entry
· Assist the controller in sending invoices for multiple companies
· A/R and A/P functions
· GST / QST Remittance
· DAS Remittance
· Payroll
· Bank Reconciliations
· Credit Card Reconciliations
· Other general administrative office tasks
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
· Post-secondary education in a related field (Accounting, Administration or Finance)
· Experience with the Sage 50 software suite (2 year minimum)
· Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
· Fluency (written and spoken) in French and English
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work independently
