Brief Description
The Digital Marketing Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, monitoring the performance of the account, continuously improving results. They must be able to perform technical tasks, review analytics data, write reports and make recommendations. They must be able to set up business accounts on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and more. Most importantly, they must have experience in either contributing or leading the development of comprehensive digital marketing strategies for B2B clients.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills. You should also demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills.
1.1 Minimum Requirements
The following must be identified on your resume prior to applying for the role.
· 3 years of project management or project admin experience
· 3 years digital marketing experience
· 3 years of experience with managing a team of 3 or more
· IT consulting experience
1.2 Nice to Have Requirements
· PMP or equivalent certification
· Experience with clients in Technical Sector, Insurance and Finance, and or Healthcare
· Experience with Hubspot or other CRM tools
· Experience managing business profile on social media and other online platforms
2 Core Responsibilities 2.1 Accountable for, and Manage toward Client Objectives
How do we measure?
· Define, document, and manage approval and consensus for client goals related to:
o Business growth
o Marketing strategies
o Technical dependencies
· Implement, monitor, and manage overall marketing strategies for clients
· Monthly review of marketing statistics and alignment to goals, including:
o Executive summary of reporting data
o Collect and formalize feedback on goal alignment
o Identify decisions required
· Work with sales leadership to develop and deliver any change requests each month
· Deliver quarterly check-in meetings (Invite sales)
· Work with sales leadership to reassess every 6 months
2.2 Manage client scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
How do we measure?
· Project triple constraints will be defined, written, and approval within 2 weeks of onboarding
· Change requests are managed according to the project plan
· Manage the delivery teams to deliver on time
· Safeguard against scope creep
· Identify & support progress on client-owned deliverables.
2.3 Manage Client Onboarding
How do we measure?
· Verify that client goals are entered into Google Analytics
· Setup and test all reports
· Verify all client profiles are set up, tested, and safeguarded
2.4 Manage Monthly Reporting
How do we measure?
· Ensure that all reporting is accurate
· Review reports and provides assessments with respect to goal-tracking
· Collect and formalize Competitive Analysis reports where required
· Provide executive summary and recommendations each month that align to goals
2.5 Vendor & Team Management
How do we measure?
· Ensure vendors deliver quality work on schedule, on the scope
· Ensure team members are supported with what they need
· Manage and clear any roadblocks
· Always know the status of all work
· Review and Prioritize tasks at minimum 1 time per week
3 Relationship Responsibilities:
· Excellent corporate-level communications skills, both written and spoken.
· Excellent presentation skills both written, and oral.
· Customer service, sales, and/or help desk experience will be an asset.
· Experience working with client leadership team level members, including C-Level Executives.
· Identifying, understanding customer needs, and overseeing service delivery within the business context.
· Owning responsibility for all client work and requirements.
· Managing project finances and budgets.
· Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services.
· Remaining organized and meeting deadlines.
4 Job Details
· This role will be filled in in Q1 of 2022
· Full time – 40 hours a week, with flexible schedules.
· This role is currently 100% remote, with in-person and video conference meetings.
· Quarterly in-person offsite meetings will be required.
· This role is candidates legally able to work in Ontario, Canada
· Travel to client places of business may be required.
