Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Carpenters looking for a great wage, extensive benefits, and want to work for a company who prides themselves on safety. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on the CBR High Voltage Project. You have previously worked alongside crews within a heavy industrial environment. You’re a team player who is willing to lend a hand whenever assistance is required to get the job done.

Essential Responsibilities:
Comprehend drawings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
Understand concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms
Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb, and the right size, shape, and location
Requirements:
Have a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Non-ticketed carpenters must have 4+ years relevant experience to the industrial carpentry trade
Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Must have a valid Driver’s License and clear 3-year driver’s abstract
OSSA ROP/CSO/BSO, Wildlife Awareness, H2S Alive is an asset
Work Conditions:
Shift based position working 14/7 rotation, working 10 hours per day
Camp accommodation provided
Travel allowance provided for those that qualify
Flights are not provided
Benefits provided by CLAC
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
