We are a remote-first company with team members across Canada with a concentration in Vancouver BC.
We are looking to expand our Sales department and are seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, the SDRs will need a strong understanding of our Product Offering, our sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting and growing new relationships, and introducing qualified leads to our Account Executives. The SDR should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for the SDR to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. This is a full-time remote position.

Objectives of this Role
Manage and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and position our Account Executives for Discovery Calls and Strategy Sessions
Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet the needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and our Account Executives
Qualify leads and identifies prospect’s needs to assist Account Executives with their sales conversations
Build trusting relationships with prospects to generate future leads as sales opportunities
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report to the Director of Sales Operations with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
The SDR might also be tasked with following up and organizing meetings for management and Enterprise opportunities
The SDR is expected to work in synergy with our Marketing Team and Customer Success Team
Required Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years of sales development experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
Strong communication skills via phone and email
Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software
Prior experience as a sales development rep (or similar prospecting role) with a track record of achieving sales quotas
Is accustomed to working remotely
Has mortgage industry knowledge and prior SaaS sales experience
Has great organizational skills and collaborates well with others
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
